Near the rustic village of Jocotepec is the residential development of Las Fuentes. Across the highway from Las Fuentes and close to the lake is the housing area known as El Chante. At the west end of lake past the village of Jocotepec is the small established development known as Roca Azul. There is a street market every Thursday near the town plaza in Jocotepec.
